Terms and Conditions of Use

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS WEBSITE. All users of this site agree that access to and use of this site are subject to the following terms and conditions and other applicable law. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, please do not use this site.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) or any other applicable Australian legislation. To the extent of any inconsistency, the Australian Consumer Law prevails.


1. Copyright

The entire content of this site, including but not limited to text, graphics and code, is protected by copyright under the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth) and is the property of Tradie Essentials (ABN details on request). All rights reserved.

Permission is granted to electronically copy and print portions of this site for the sole purpose of placing an order with or purchasing products from www.tradieessentials.com.au. Any other use — including reproduction, distribution, display or transmission of any content — is strictly prohibited unless authorised by Tradie Essentials in writing. You agree not to remove any proprietary notices from materials downloaded from this site.


2. Trademarks

All trademarks, service marks and trade names used on this site are the property of Tradie Essentials. Unauthorised use of any of these marks is prohibited.


3. Artwork and Graphic Approval

All graphic and artwork orders are custom produced to your specifications. By approving your artwork proof, you confirm that you are satisfied with the content, layout, spelling and design, and you authorise us to proceed to print.

Please note the following important conditions:

  • Artwork must be approved in writing via email before printing can commence.
  • Approval must be received by 3:00 PM AEST/AEDT (Melbourne time) for that business day to count. Approvals received after this time will be processed the following business day.
  • Once approved, artwork orders cannot be amended or cancelled. Approval is final and not reversible.
  • Colour accuracy: Colours displayed on your screen or in a proof are indicative only. Colours will vary across different screens, printers and materials. If a specific colour match is required, please advise a Pantone (PMS) colour reference before approving your proof so we can work toward the closest achievable match.
  • Responsibility for correct content, spelling and artwork accuracy rests with the client.


4. Returns, Refunds and Remedies

Tradie Essentials is committed to delivering products that meet the specifications stated on our website and the approved artwork proof.

As our products are custom printed to each customer’s individual order and artwork, we are unable to offer refunds for change of mind or errors in customer-supplied artwork once approved.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected by this policy. If a product has a major fault, is not of acceptable quality, or does not match its description, you are entitled to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law regardless of our internal policies.

If a product does not meet our stated specifications or the approved proof, please contact us immediately at info@tradieessentials.com.au with photographs and a description of the issue. We will make every effort to reach a fast and fair resolution.


Our warranty process is as follows:


Notification within 24 hours of receipt:

  • We will arrange and pay for return of the goods to us for repair and return at no cost to you; or
  • We will replace the goods at no cost to you. Where return is required, we will arrange and cover the cost.


Notification between 24 hours and 7 days of receipt:

  • You are required to return the goods to us at your cost. We will then repair or replace the goods and return them to you at no charge.


These warranty provisions are in addition to, and do not limit, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.


5. Shipping and Delivery

We deliver to Australian addresses only.

Delivery is managed by third-party courier services. Whilst we dispatch orders promptly, we are unable to guarantee courier delivery timeframes and do not offer a guaranteed overnight delivery service as standard. If your order is time-critical, please contact us prior to ordering to discuss options.


Estimated delivery timeframes from dispatch:

  • Major metropolitan centres: 2–5 business days
  • Regional areas: 3–7 business days
  • Remote locations: up to 10 business days or longer depending on location
  • Urgent or priority delivery: available at additional cost — please enquire at time of ordering


Tradie Essentials will not be liable for delays caused by courier services or events outside our reasonable control.


6. Privacy

Tradie Essentials collects and handles personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). For full details, please refer to our Privacy Policy at www.tradieessentials.com.au/pages/privacy.


7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law (including the Australian Consumer Law), Tradie Essentials’ liability for any claim arising from use of this website or purchase of products is limited to the value of the relevant order. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or economic loss.

Nothing in this clause limits any guarantee, right or remedy you are entitled to under the Australian Consumer Law.


8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.


9. Term and Termination

These terms and conditions apply from the time you access or use this site. Tradie Essentials may update or terminate these terms at any time without notice. Provisions relating to copyright, trademarks, limitation of liability and governing law survive any termination.
